Douglas County Historical Society

The Douglas County Historical Society operates the General Crook House Museum and Library Archives Center located at Historic Fort Omaha. The Museum is the authentically restored 1879 home of
General George Crook and is on the historic register. Walk-ins welcome, docent led tours available by appointment. Come tour the museum today, we are the only Omaha location to be selected as one of the 2013 Nebraska Passport Program!

Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
