Visit the only museum of California’s North Coast region to present a comprehensive array of exhibits, education and public programs, and to hold a significant collection of artworks and historic objects.

The Sonoma County Museum is an intimate way to experience diverse rotating art and history exhibitions. Be sure to bring a lunch to enjoy in the outdoor Sculpture Garden! Past exhibits include Ansel Adams photography, Russian artifacts from Tsars’ Cabinet, large-scale portraits from Chuck Close, and SFMOMA “on the go”.

It’s conveniently located just steps away from Historic Railroad Square and downtown Santa Rosa in the historic 1910 Post Office building. Parking is available in the Seventh Street Parking lot. The Sonoma County Museum is a private, non-profit museum and relies on broad community support from local and visiting guests of all ages.
