Gila County Historical Museum in located in Globe, AZ, on Highway 60, also know as the Old West Highway. The building, once a mine rescue station, houses an historical collection which showcases mining, ranching, Native American artifacts and an extensive research library. Hours are Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and Saturday 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
