Heritage Square Foundation

Heritage Square is the last remaining intact residential block form turn of the century Phoenix. The Square consists of 10 historic buildings (listed on the National Register of Historic Places), including the Rosson House Museum, built in 1895 and restored in the late 1970s. Visitors can only see the Museum by taking a guided tour. Each tour takes visitors through the first and second floors of the house, and each is a little different, depending on the interests of your tour guides and of the people taking the tour. Visitors may hear stories about the people who lived in the Rosson House on one tour, and hear more information about the beautiful architecture in the next. Currently, tours in the Rosson House include the exhibit pieces on display with our Dressing Downtown exhibit. Tour include holiday decor from mid-November through the end of December every year, and include an exhibit featuring turn of the century dishes beginning Spring 2018.
